On this program I deal the fact that all humans walk by faith, simply because they are human beings that do not know everything about everything (not omniscient). Therefore, whatever a human believes about anything is exactly that, i.e. a belief. When one accepts something as factual they are demonstrating where they have placed their faith. This does NOT mean that truth is relative, it simply means that proof is relative to where one places their faith.

On this program we continue with these concepts. These concepts can be somewhat challenging to understand. It’s important that one understands them well enough that they can apply them when they are challenged relative to their faith. This is especially true when dealing with the creation/evolution controversy.

Perhaps you’ve been asked, “How do you know God exists?” 1 Peter 3:15 calls us (Christians) to be prepared to give an account for the hope that we have in Christ. On this program this topic is addressed in a simple and practical way.

Perhaps you’ve heard it said, “The Bible is a book of theology, it is not a book of science.” My contention is: “If we cannot believe the Bible with what it has to say relative to various scientific disciplines, how can we believe the Bible with what it has to say about Jesus?” Personally, I believe the Bible to be accurate relative to whatever topic is addressed within it. It IS interesting to note that the five major components found in any scientific discipline are found in the very first verse of God’s Word. This is to topic of discussion on this program.

Notice: There is an interruption in this program from 1:25-3:30 minutes into the program in which another program over-rides this program.

On this program we begin with the First Day of the Creation Week; thus, the controversy relative to the length of the Creation Days. During this program, and several programs following, we address the importance of the length of the Creation Days, the various views of the length of those days, how one goes about determining which view is correct, and come to the conclusion of which view is correct. All of this will take several programs.

Sep 06

This is the first program in a series of three programs that deal with the length of the creation days. Some five different views relative to the length of the creation days are discussed in this series. When these views are taken to task there is only one left standing from a Biblical perspective.

This is the second program in a series of three programs that deal with the length of the creation days. Some five different views relative to the length of the creation days are discussed in this series. When these views are taken to task there is only one left standing from a Biblical perspective.

On this program we again address why the topic of the length of the Creation Days is important. We also take a brief look at Theistic (God) Evolution, i.e. the proposal that God used Evolution as His mechanism to bring about life as we now have it. On this program there is a brief comparison of the postulates (proposals) of Evolution and the Creation Account of Genesis, chapter 1. The bottom-line, they don’t fit together.

On this program we address what took place on the second day of the Creation Week (Genesis 1:6-8). On this day we have God separating water from water. The implications of this had a lot to do with what God said at the close of the Creation Week, i.e. “God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.” (Genesis 1:31, NIV)
