In this program Russ Miller of Creation, Evolution & Science Ministries out of Flagstaff, Arizona is interviewed. Russ has a rapidly expanding and very comprehensive creation science ministry. He leads several tours of the Grand Canyon each year and shares a view of the Canyon’s formation that makes far more sense than the traditional geological views. This is the first of two programs (#38 & #39) that deal with the Fossil Record. Generally, the Fossil Record  is given as one of the foundational icons of evolution. It is presented as indisputable proof that evolution is true. On these programs we look at the Fossil Record as it relates to evolution and as it relates to the Creation Account. In doing so we find that the Creation Account makes far more sense relative to what is seen in the Fossil Record than the Evolution Account.

Natural Selection (Survival of the Fittest) is presented from the Evolution Viewpoint as the mechanism by which one kind of organic evolves into another. When in fact Natural Selection helps in keeping the gene pool from becoming corrupted and weeds out those deemed unfit for survival by the environment. Survival of the Fittest does not explain their arrival.

This is the first of two programs (#41 & #42) in which we address what has become somewhat of a mantra within many churches, “The first eleven chapters of the Book of Genesis are figurative”, i.e. there never really was a literal Adam and Eve, nor a Garden of Eden, nor a literal flood (much less a global one), etceteras. In this session we deal with how a person can determine whether a passage is literal or figurative and begin to touch on the importance of this issue.
